Fifteen years ago Martine discovered that practicing yoga helps her in her daily life. Her interest led her to take the Eight Limb Vinyasa Flow 200 hour teacher training program with Cindy Mastry at YogaEtcStudio where she earned her certified yoga teacher certificate. Expanding her training, she also received a certification in Yin yoga with Joe Barnett at Yoga University.
Martine travels regularly and in each country that she discovers, she practices yoga with different teachers and different methods.
Martine feels that meditation is the most important limb of yoga and recently attended a silent meditation retreat for 5 days in Thailand. She feels this is the best way to disconnect with everything to connect with one’s deepest self.
Martine’s love for teaching stems from wanting to share her experience with her students to help them to become stronger,healthier, happier, and more emotionally and physically balanced.
Yoga is not exercise, it’s a way of life.
