Cindy has a background in dance and also worked in the fitness industry on and off since the late seventies, always maintaining a home yoga practice. Today, focused only on Yoga, Cindy is the owner of the studio. She is a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance (E-RYT) trained in classical Ashtanga Yoga at Mount Madonna Institute in California, home of the globally respected teacher and spiritual leader Baba Hari Dass who inspires “teach to learn”. Cindy has also studied with Kate Potter, Sharon Gannon and David Life, Larry Schultz, Gary Kraftsow, Jon Kest and Bryan Kest. Her style blends knowledge learned from all her teachers to encourage practicing the principles of yoga with self awareness and balance, without competitiveness in order to reach the underlying vibrational life force energy and true essence of yoga.

DR. ADELE GIOTTA, D.C.

Dr. Giotta is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She started practicing yoga regularly while in chiropractic college because yoga can be done anywhere, anytime with very little props - all you need is a 5x8 space and a mat. Her brother gave her a beginning Hatha yoga book and she would read about one pose each day and then do it. Eventually she could do all the poses in the book. After she became a chiropractor, Dr. Giotta noticed that many patients had back, knee, shoulder, hip and neck problems due to poor posture, muscular imbalances and shallow breathing. She started to prescribe breathing exercises and appropriate yoga poses to her patients with great results. She feels that it is important for people to be in control of their own health and loves to be able to provide tools for them to do so. Yoga is one tool. Learning yoga and doing it regularly will strengthen your body and clear your mind. Dr. Giotta hopes that by sharing yoga with others she can give people the tools they need to get well and stay well.
