1)You must be a part of Cirque de Soliel to practice yoga

While increased flexiblity is a benefit of any yoga practice, it is not necessary to be a human pretzel to join a yoga class.

2)You are too old to begin yoga! The classes are just for young, skinny women ONLY.

Any one at any age can practice yoga. Both men and women enjoy Yoga Etc.’s classes at varying levels to suit every need.

3)You have to be a Buddhist to learn yoga.

Any person of any religious or nonreligious belief system can benefit from a regular yoga practice. Yoga does teach not to judge others or yourself. Most practices include meditation or reflection. Knowledge of Buddhist philosophy not required.

4)You can’t really lose wieght in yoga.

Weight loss is a benefit of a consistant yoga practice. That is why we offer a variety of classes that will get your heart pumping and help to shed unneccary pounds.

5)You really don’t need yoga.

Yoga helps to cleanse your body of toxins, improves overall health, decreases stress levels and even helps you live longer, sleep better and live happier. Do you need yoga?
