CRYSTAL BOWL MEDITATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH RON HAYES
![]() |
Date: Saturday, March 20th, 2010 Time: 1:00PM Price: $15 |
Ron’s Crystal Bowl Meditative Events are designed to help people to have an experience of getting beneath the chatter. It is one thing to know something conceptually and quite another to know it experientially. You may know conceptually that you are Divine; that your thoughts are creative. Those are the concepts. But, how do you marry the concepts with experience for true knowledge and awareness? That’s the journey that Ron intends to help you begin at his Crystal Bowl Meditative Experiences.
Our most steadfast barrier to experientially interacting with life is our mind in the form of two things—chatter and limiting beliefs. So, what’s that mean from a practical, everyday perspective? If you can decrease, on a daily basis, the random chatter in your mind several things will happen:
- You will be able to glimpse who and what YOU are-which is Divine.
- You will become more aware of the quality and characteristics of your thoughts.
- You will feel naturally less anxious, fearful and stressed.
Getting beneath the chatter does not mean somehow miraculously making your mind totally blank. That’s impossible; unrealistic. What it does mean is turning off the autopilot and taking control. It means moving into conscious thinking. It is impossible to not participate in the creative process. The choice we make is how we will participate--consciously or unconsciously. Come begin the journey.

BE STILL AND MOVE YOUR CHI…A YIN YOGA WORKSHOP
![]() |
Dates: Saturday, April 24, 2010 Time: 1:30pm – 6:00pm Instructor: Amy Price: $35 per day / $55 for both days |
Yin Yoga is a practice wherein one holds mostly seated postures for 3 to 5 minutes. It focuses strongly on the joints of the hips, pelvis and lower back. It is a practice of stillness and quiet, designed to stretch the connective tissue of the joints, awaken and move chi (energy) along the meridians (energy channels) of the body and bring one closer to their true inner nature. During a Yin practice we take time to relax into ourselves and cultivate a nondefensive attitude toward sensations, physical, emotional and mental. A Yin practice will rejuvenate and relax you, giving you increased clarity of mind and leaving you with the feeling that you have had a massage.
During this workshop we will focus on some of the meridian channels that run the length of the body. We will dedicate time to explore the physical, energetic, emotional and mental qualities of each yin/yang organ meridian pair before we begin an in depth Yin series for each one. Practicing Yin yoga will enrich the quality of chi flowing through the meridians. The unhurried attitude combined with the ability to feel attentive to our body reduces stress levels and allows our system to discharge excess tensions. Yin yoga enhances the quality and fluid motion of chi. Join us…be still and move your chi.
