This class will aim to focus your mind on the vinyasa practice - the connection of movement and breath. We will warm our bodies through a series of breathing, stretching and sun salutations, move into a strong and focused sequence of standing and balancing postures, then move through inversions and seated postures into savasana. The class is designed to encourage the balance of strength and gentility in our practice and into our lives, and aims to leave you feeling connected, balanced, strong and mindful.

In Slow Flow each pose is linked to the next through a series of connecting movements called "vinyasa"", allowing the body to create heat and leading to more strength and flexibility. Smooth, deep breathing(ujjayi), gaze(dristi).and locks(bandhas) are synchronized with the movements. This  practice purifies and realigns the body, cultivating a feeling of inner peace, and leading to a natural state of meditation.

Senior Yoga Instructor Larry Schultz created the Rocket routine based on a modification of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga series, to renew energy and vitality in the body. This uplifting sequence of postures has gained global recognition as a feel good experience which opens the body and clears the mind. The Rocket breaks through areas of tension and energy blockage, combating tendencies towards stagnancy and resistance in the body. As a part of a weekly schedule, this routine creates an energy peak in the cyclic rhythms of the practice.

Often described as ‘designer yoga,’ this 2,500 year-old practice brings together yoga and the relaxing touch and stretching of your Thai yoga practitioner. It is performed on the floor in loose and comfortable clothing and incorporates rhythmic motion, palming and thumbing along energy lines, gentle stretching and breath work.

Quiet your mind, increase your energy and go deeper with Yin Yoga. Much of the Yoga is Yang in nature, active and focused on building heat. Yin Yoga is the other side to that coin, focusing on gently stretching the tough connective tissues that make up our joints, particularly the lower spine, hips and pelvis. In a Yin Yoga class we hold poses for three to ten minutes. Holding the poses for a long period of time brings new depths in postures allowing for deeper ranges of motion, and increased energy flow throughout the body. Who doesn’t want, or need, more energy! The gentleness of this practice allows your mind to quiet, offering deep relaxation and time for your body to recharge, getting you ready for your next task at hand.
