Let’s Connect

Yoga Etc. Studio was founded in 2006 to provide a peaceful, yet challenging and invigorating place for you to come to on a regular basis, to learn, to teach and to share. Our philosophy is that your practice is about you, and our job is to facilitate your growth, as well as to provide just the oasis you need to get away from the stress of daily living. We welcome you to join us at an upcoming class.

Our Instructors

Cindy Mastry was introduced to yoga by her Grandmother Ann Ree Colton in the late 60’s, and began practicing at an early age, first with Lilias Folan on TV and with Vishnudevananda’s classic yoga text on her own. Cindy has a background in dance and also worked in the fitness industry on and off since the late seventies, always maintaining a home yoga practice.

Yoga Styles

There are several different styles of yoga, each based on its founder’s unique approach. The three major styles share a common lineage, as their founders were all students of Indian Yogi Krishnamacharya. These styles are Astanga, Iyengar and Viniyoga. Two other major styles, Integral and Sivananda, were created by disciples of the famous guru Sivananda.
